Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier contains a single active ingredient, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, which is used as an additive to lessen damage. Olaplex works by finding single sulfur hydrogen bonds and cross linking them back together to form disulfide bonds. Disulfide bonds are broken via chemical, thermal, and mechanical processes.
Olaplex No.2 Bond Perfector is the second step of the in-salon Olaplex system. It is a bond multiplier, not a conditioning treatment, and is necessary to use after No.1

DIRECTIONS
Mix 15ml No.1 with 90ml of water in a non-spraying applicator bottle. Apply to dry hair and saturate thoroughly.
Leave for 5 minutes.
Without rinsing, apply a generous amount of No.2 from roots to ends and comb through thoroughly.
Leave for a minimum of 10-20 minutes.
Rinse, shampoo and condition.
